Everyone learns in a different way…

…and at Learning to Paint we understand that you might want to spend lots of time on your hobby, get to know other members of Ali’s creative community, or just dip your toe in when your free time allows.

Therefore, Ali has developed a new package of creative tutorials for you to enjoy and you only ever have to pay for what you would like to take part in. They are designed to be enjoyed as individual lessons, learning a new technique or tackling a subject that you may not have encountered before and as long as you create an account and keep the details, you will have access for life.

How does it work?
From the buttons above, select which media you are interested in learning more about and be taken to the page that shares Ali’s latest titles, this is a new project for Ali so please bear with her while she spends time working on the content. Ali will be dedicating a great deal of 2024 to adding to the catalogue every month so pop back to see what’s new or drop her a line if there is something you would like to see her cover.

Next to each title is the opportunity to pay a one time fee (or some are even free) and have automatic access to the content. You will need to set up an account, perhaps you already have one for this website, so that every time you log in you will be able to access any tutorials you have purchased, your videos can be found under the ‘Digital Products’ part of your account.

If the tutorial is free it will show in your account immediately, if it requires payment then you will need to go through the checkout before you will find it.

This access exists for as long as you keep your account with us and have made a note of which email address and password you used, although it is possible to reset your password at any time. Please read the Ts and Cs before purchase.

I’d like to know what materials I will need before purchasing, how can I find out?
Ali is always keen to work with what you have and often recommends alternatives during the lesson but to help even further, each page has a downloadable standard equipment list for you to look through before you pay for a tutorial. There may be a few extra things added to each session but never anything that wildly deviates from the main equipment list.

Am I permitted to exhibit or share any paintings I produce as a result of one of these lessons?
You are welcome to exhibit, print or share anything you have produced from a tutorial that you have purchased from this website, all Ali asks is that you use the phrase ‘From a tutorial by Alison C. Board’ wherever it is seen and if you can encourage others to visit this website, all the better! We take copyright very seriously at Learning to Paint so if you are in any way unsure, please do get in touch and we will be happy to help.
