Tips and Tricks: November

Another delightful creature to add to my ‘Animal Tales’ this month

Here’s a new Tips and Tricks video for you to brighten up your day.

I’ve had so much fun this month using literature as inspiration for my projects, if you haven’t had a chance yet, pop over to the Technique Tuesday blog post to see another free demo where I paint a Golden Goose on black watercolour paper.

This project uses the delightful Wind in the Willows as a starting point and I vividly remember the first time I read the book, marvelling at all the illustrations. Perhaps it was an indication of what was to come in my life, even though at the time, the thought of becoming an artist when I was grown up hadn’t occurred to me?

Anyhoo, enjoy the video and let me know how you have got on with painting a similar subject, either by commenting below or by tagging @aliboardartist on social media.

Please note, there is no audio for this video, just lovely relaxing music for you to enjoy.

See you soon, Ali
