Tips and Tricks: February

A printmaking experiment that changed as it went along

Here’s a new Tips and Tricks video for you to brighten up your day.

Where this started and where it ended were two very different things. I sat down intending to use my Posca pens on my Gelli plate but they didn’t behave as I had anticipated and by the time I got to the end of the project, I felt it needed mounting up to give it a final flourish.

The end result isn’t as slick as I would like it to be but as with all these things, I learnt loads and what I would do differently next time…I think!

I do hope you enjoy the video and let me know how you have got on with painting a similar subject, either by commenting below or by tagging @aliboardartist on social media.

Please note, there is no audio for this video, just lovely relaxing music for you to enjoy.

See you soon, Ali
