Technique Tuesday for October
Hey there, my lovely fellow painters.
Welcome to the October TT post, full of exciting artistic experiments for you. This month I have set myself the theme of ‘Scotland’ the home of some of my ancestors and a place I haven’t visited for a very long time, although I hope that will change in 2024. If you haven’t visited, I can highly recommend it to an artist as it is full of atmosphere and history around every corner. I particularly like the highlands and the area around Loch Ness, the way that ancient glaciers carved out the landscape fills me with awe and wonder every time.
That’s where I start the broadcast for this particular TT - mountains - and how we can tackle them by using the best that two media has to offer, acrylic and watercolour in a slightly unusual application of the two.
