Acrylic is an often-overlooked resist technique in watercolour painting and for this workshop we will explore using a palette knife together with impressionistic watercolour application.

Saturday workshops focus on experimental combination techniques to achieve variations of subject. Some materials will be provided and a list of equipment you will need will be available via the confirmation email after booking. Refreshments are also included, but please bring a packed lunch; a fridge is available to store your lunch in if required.

Saturday workshops are suitable for:
Intermediates: Some experience, but mack lack confidence and need encouragement. Good technical knowledge.

Advanced: Good/excellent technical knowledge with matching skills. Also able to accept constructive criticism.

Downend Farm Studio is a fully-equipped, purpose-built studio with parking, disabled access, enclosed garden, toilet, and a kitchen area with drinks facilities. Refreshments are provided in all classes and workshops and a fridge is available to use if you lunch needs to stay chilled. The studio also houses an art materials shop which will be open during your class and picture framing services you can enquire about.
