Showcase your artwork in the 2019 All A-Board Artists calendar

We've teamed up with the fabulous people at 'Love From the Artist,' a British, Not-For-Profit Community Interest Company who supports artists by printing greetings cards, calendars and other products at very low costs. They will be designing and printing an All A-Board Artists calendar which will feature artworks by members of this group.

If you'd like your artworks to be considered for the calendar all you need to do is email images of them to downendfarmstudio@gmail.com along with the titles of the artworks and your name (this information will be included in the calendar).

The deadline for submissions is 11:59pm on Monday 17th September, 2018

We'd really like to include everyone who applies so please send us lots of well photographed, high quality images. If we get three elephants only one will make it, so give us lots of choice. If we have more than 12 amazing paintings we'll make more than one calendar.

Once they're printed, you will be able to purchase as many as you like at the low cost of £5.71 per calendar. If you'd like to sell them the retail price is £9.99.

    THINGS TO REMEMBER:

    • All the images will be square so please submit paintings that are square or can be cropped into a square and still look good.

    • We're unable to put your painting on a specific month and where we place your image will depend on the other images in the calendar. It'd look a little odd if all the flowers are at the beginning.

    • We're unable to guarantee a date when the calendars will be printed, but we'll let you know when they're ready.

    PHOTOGRAPHING YOUR ARTWORK TOP TIPS:

    • Please use a camera to photograph your artworks and not a phone or tablet. We need a resolution of at least 300dpi and images taken on phones and tablets are almost always 72dpi.

    • Ideally, take your photographs outside in daylight on a cloudy day. This is the best, most even light and it will show off all those lovely colours.

    • Hold your camera nice and steady and take at least three images. Photographs always look very different on a computer and motion blur sometimes doesn't show on a camera screen.

    • Don't worry about editing them, we'll do that for you.
